HITLERS LAUNCH

MB1 Grillet is a highly significant vessel of historical importance.
This vessel was Adolf Hitler’s private launch, acting as tender for the ship Aviso-Grille.

The hull is constructed with diagonal oak planking on the inside copper riveted

to fore and aft planking on the outside with sheathing  between laminates.

The hull is totally original, the super structure and cabins are not original.

The vessel is currently centre cockpit with fore and aft cabins, no engine fitted.
The frames are steam bent oak and grown oak with oak hog and a wooden keel .
